Kowloon & New Territories: We will drive to our Tsz Shan Monastery, a Chinese Buddhist monastery established for the preservation of the inheritance of the Dharma preached by Sakyamuni Buddha. It is a peaceful retreat serving as a refuge for spiritual seekers, featuring a 76-metre Kwun Tam statue and an architectural style inspired by the elegance of the Tang, Northern Song, Liao and Jin dynasties harmoniously integrated into its natural hilly surroundings. The monastery followed strict rules of letting only a certain number of visitors a day; therefore, advance booking is needed.
We will spend a few hours here before we proceed to visit the Chi Lin Nunnery and Nan Lian Gardens. The tour finishes by visiting our famous Wong Tai Sin Temple, the only temple that has followers from Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism.
