A walk across Lamma Island is one of Hong Kong’s most relaxing and scenic outings. This outlying island gives you a very laid-back feeling with peaceful views of the fishing villages, beaches, and coastal views. An easy paved trail connecting the two settlements of this island lets you walk in whichever direction that you prefer to walk. I basically prefer going to Yung Shue Wan to Sok Kwu Wan. The trail climbs steadily at some points past greenery, offering ocean glimpses, then peaks with panoramic views over the South China Sea, rocky coastlines, and sometimes the iconic Lamma Power Station chimneys in the backdrop.

Asha T12 days agoHighly recommended! Amazing! Wanted a bespoke 3-day tour for my Mum, and so glad I had booked for Sabrina for the whole tour experience. She helped curate a wonderful program for Mum, seeing the main highlights and experiencing the local culture. Most importantly, the whole tour was done in a pace comfortable for my Mum.VerifiedPosted on Tripadvisor![]()

Anuya R42 days agoGreat your but felt pricey for the number of places visited. It was a 6 hour tour and Sabrina was our tour guide. She picked us at the airport and then took us to all the key places and also gave us ample time to take photos. She has good knowledge of the area and was very excited to show us. The tour involves good bit of walking so make sure you have good shows and have water. The tour listed a few places and for the most part we stuck to the itinerary but she suggested to drop the Aberdeen fishing village. We did try momos and bakery product but didn't get a chance to eat lunch at the proper Cantonese place. Missed this one. Also it was super sultry and hot so not the best time to travel.
Owner's reply
Hi Anuya, thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for the kind words about the day we spent together. I am genuinely glad you found me knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and that you appreciated the time we made for photographs.I fully understand why the tour felt a little pricey relative to the number of places visited, and I appreciate you saying so openly. This is a six-hour layover tour that includes airport collection and the journey into town, both of which take a meaningful bite out of the available time. In practice it often works better as an eight-hour outing, especially on a humid summer day. On 13th July the weather was particularly sultry and sticky, which made the walking more tiring than usual. We did discuss leaving the large backpacks and trolley suitcase in the airport left-luggage facility so we could move more freely, but I completely respected your preference to keep everything with you. Carrying the extra weight, combined with the many photo stops and a few spontaneous snack and shopping pauses, simply used more of our limited window than the original plan allowed. That is why we had to forgo Aberdeen. Everywhere else on the published itinerary was covered, and we managed to slip in a couple of extra spots that were not listed at all.Regarding lunch, the itinerary describes a dim-sum / local-food tasting rather than a full sit-down Cantonese meal. Because time had become tight, we ordered from the takeaway counter so we could keep moving while still sampling proper local flavours. I am sorry that did not match the more leisurely restaurant experience you had hoped for. All in all, a four-star review feels fair given the constraints of the day, and I am grateful to you for all the positive things to say. Should you ever pass through Hong Kong again with a longer window, I would be delighted to show you Aberdeen and a proper sit-down meal at a more relaxed pace. With a private tour, flexibility is always paramount and itineraries often need to adapt on the day according to circumstances such as weather, luggage, walking pace and guest preferences. Had the booking been made directly rather than through an online platform, I would have been able to explain this more fully in advance and set clearer expectations about what can realistically be covered in six hours with an airport pickup.Warm regards,Sabrina.VerifiedPosted on Tripadvisor![]()
Swaminathan A59 days agoMore Than a Tour Guide—An Extended Member of Our Family I would give Sabrina 10 stars if I could. I traveled alone with my kids, and Sabrina was with us from airport pickup to airport dropoff. From the very first few minutes, she made us feel completely comfortable. We didn’t feel like we are with a stranger , she was like a extended family member of our family. My son became so comfortable with her that he would happily stay with her, and at times even fell asleep while I explored nearby. That level of trust says everything about the kind of person she is. I truly felt like I was traveling with my own sister. Sabrina took us to all the must visit places in Hong Kong and explained everything so clearly that even my 6year old could understand and enjoy the experience. She even made sure we had a wonderful vegetarian lunch, thoughtfully considering our preferences. She is professional, caring, knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly supportive. Thanks to Sabrina, our Hong Kong trip became far more enjoyable and memorable than I ever imagined. I honestly don’t think we would have had such an amazing experience without her. Thank you, Sabrina, for your kindness, warmth, and genuine care. You gave us more than a tour you gave us unforgettable memories. We will always be grateful and will remember you as much more than a tour guide.

Fabiana R63 days agoCouldn't have been better! Getting in touch with Sabrina was the best idea I could have had. We had little time to explore HK, and she made sure to take us to special places, tell us about history, traditions, and the local vibe in such a detail that it felt like we had been there for a month! She also handled transportation, our preferences, our safety, and always with a beautiful smile. Sabrina deserves not only my recognition for a job well done, she earned our trust and affection... and that says more than a thousand words.
